BBC Podcast

Pros:
I liked how it talked about how Charlotte life in a deep and investigative way. I thought it was very educational based on how they presented the information. I liked how it wasn't just focused on Charlotte but her own family as well. Another thing I also liked was how they described the similarities between Jane Eyre's life and Charlotte's life including some of the different characters. The people on the podcast talk about how Jane Eyre wasn't the first book written by Charlotte Bronte but a book called The Professor but it was never published. I liked how it runs over the main parts of the book and describes who some of the main people are in the book.

Cons: With all of the positives with the podcast I felt that there was a number of bad things about the podcast. One of the negatives was because the people on the podcast always talked over each other and constantly said "umm" over and over. I also didn't like how they stayed on one topic for a long period of time. Another thing that i didn't like was that the guy on the podcast only spoke in monotone and had no variation in the way he said things. It was also hard to understand somethings that they said because of the accents that they had.

Interesting information:
One thing that I found out while listening to the podcast was that Jane Eyre was not the first book that Charlotte Bronte had written but a book that couldn't get published while she was alive. I also found it interesting that they talk about Charlotte's dad and how successful he was in the early years of his life. Another thing that I thought was interesting was how they described the way that the story was written and how they said that "We can almost always see what Jane is wearing throughout the story." It was also interesting because of the way that they talked about the social classes in the book and how it played a role in Jane's life.
